What about Drop-ins?
We have had to change many of our classes to regular sessions and no all the time drop-ins. Some classes never had a drop-in option, and now they do. We hope the change gives people a chance to try the classes and offers our instructors a chance to keep a class together instead of having different students all the time. All classes now have a drop-in option for you to try the class. You can do this during the 1st or 2nd class of a session. Try the class and if you like it, just pay the balance to sign up for the rest of the session.
*Please note. Many classes do have a minumum student number to be able to start. If everyone purchases a drop-in for the first class the class WILL NOT start. Many classes need a 5-6 prepaid for the whole session student minumum. If you want to sign up for a whole session or are almost positive then please do so or contact us with questions.

Weekend Pole Drop-in is Back!!!!
Every Saturday (unless noted on the website/calendar) 11am
This class is officially for beginners (pre-invert) only. Unfortunately, we could not get an advanced instructor to teach this time slot. That's ok, cause Lisa is just a hell of a lot of fun and will help you build a great foundation for intermediate pole later on. If you are an intermediate student you can drop-in to this class for more of a practice session. Everyone should let us know they are coming by the day before class, but especially if you are intermediate level. We need to know whom to expect.

Drop-in Yoga Class
New class info and registration information soon!
We have just finished moving into our new studio and are working out the new schedule with the instructor.
Yoga is More Than You Might Think!
Most people think of Yoga and they think meditation and relaxation. While these are some amazing benefits to practicing yoga, there's so much more that you might not know. I've listed benefits of regular Yoga practice. Everyone: male, female, old, young, full figured, or thin, can benefit from yoga. Even if you are involved in one of our dance classes or other physical activity, you should still look into yoga. Yoga is the perfect supplement for other physical activity.... and since we are a dance studio... the body awareness, strength, and flexibility building from yoga will improve your dance!
- Stress reduction. Yoga draws your focus away from your busy, chaotic day and toward calm as you move your body through poses that require balance and concentration.
- Increased fitness. As you learn and refine new poses, you may enjoy improved balance, flexibility, range of motion and strength which can mean you are less likely to injure yourself in other activities.
- Management of chronic health conditions. There is evidence of yoga helping with a variety of health conditions, such as cancer, depression, pain, anxiety and insomnia, by helping with sleep problems, fatigue and mood. Yoga also can help reduce heart rate and blood pressure.
- Weight loss. If you're overweight or have binge-eating disorder, yoga may help you make the healthy lifestyle changes necessary to gain control of your eating and drop those extra pounds.
- Self-confidence. Being involved in any physical activity makes people happy, quite simply. Your body feels good from moving and you feel good because youre body feels good. This in turn can improve self-image, which improves confidence. Additionally, you have a more keen sense of your surroundings and body awareness. So, Yoga is highly recommended to those involved in our other dance classes.

Can't Make it on Sundays to CED?
Alecia also teaches Yoga at her studio, Happy Yoga, in Bedford.
The class pricing is a little different at her studio and unfortunately the class passes from Cleveland Exotic Dance are not transferable to Happy Yoga studio. If things go well at Alecia's second home here at CED, then we may work things out so you can join a class for the same price and use the passes depending on if you're on the East side or West side of town! (So that's a hint to make her Sunday class at CED a success.)
Here's Happy Yoga's class schedule and location.
- Mondays 7-8:30pm
- Thursdays 7-8:30pm
- Fridays 12-1:30pm
- Saturdays 12-1:30pm
- Sundays Relaxation & Meditation Class 3-4pm
